Restrictions on freight trucks

Freight trucks would have to bypass Qingping Expressway and Longxiang Boulevard between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. from Aug. 4 to 24, except Aug. 12 and 23, the dates for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Universiade, according to the city's traffic police department.

Freight vehicles would be restricted to two designated lanes on Shuiguan Expressway during the restriction period, the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported yesterday.

Shuiguan Expressway would closed to freight vehicles between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m on the Games' opening and closing days.

Freight trucks could use designated routes.
