Scenic spots to offer discount tickets during Universiade

Shenzhen will host a series of entertaining tourist activities and scenic spots will offer discount tickets during the Universiade period, said an official from Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture Sport and Tourism Monday, August 1.

Various festival activities will be held by the featured scenic spots in celebration of the Universiade, including the 16th International Beer festival in Window of the World, the Universiade Carnival, the Happy Valley Carnival and the Water-Sprinkling Festival in Splendid China among others. From Aug 10 to Aug 30, participants of the Universiade with the correct corresponding certificates can enjoy an 80 yuan discount at Happy Valley and 40 yuan discount in China Folk Culture Villages. The Shenzhen Zoo is offering a 15 percent discount to those with Universiade tickets, and a 25 percent discount for athletes and coaches.

Shenzhen has made every effort to guarantee visitors easy access to travel services through travel agencies, hotels, scenic spots, TV and websites. Hotels and transportation facilities are all well-equipped to satisfy the needs of visitors, athletes and coaches alike during the Universiade period.
