Universiade Village to open Saturday

The Universiade Village will officially open and receive the delegations on Saturday August 6, according to the Games Organizing Committee. Located in southeast part of central Longgang District, Shenzhen, the village will accommodate more than 12,000 athletes and officials from 180 countries and regions during the Universiade period.

Athletes and officials, with their authorized register cards, can enjoy a wide selection of cuisines including Mediterranean, Muslim, Lingnan, Asian and other international meals for free in the village cafeteria.It is open 24-hours a day.

Various shows and parades will be presented in the village during the Games.

The village will be closed on August 26, then will be used as a campus for Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology.
