D1:Beijing-->Lhasa (Distance: 3800km)
Depart from Beijing for a five hour flight to Gongar Airport, 100km from Lhasa. Stay overnight in a hotel.
D2: Sightseeing in Lhasa
Explore the capital city, which is the economic and cultural center of Tibet Autonomous Region. Take a three-hour tour to visit the magnificent Potala Palace, and then to the holy Buddhist center of Tibet, Jokhang Temple. After that, move to Barkhor Street, the ancient market of the city. Stay overnight in Lhasa.
D3: Lhasa-->Damxung(Distance: 164km)
Drive to Damxung, which is the northern gate to the regional capital. Explore Lake Namsco (one of the three holy lakes in Tibet) en route. Then visit Tashi Island and enjoy the view of Mount Tangula (5300m above sea level) nearby. Stay overnight at the rest house near Namsco.
