Beer fest kicks off in Qingdao

Visitors at the 21st Qingdao International Beer Festival in Qingdao, Shandong province on Aug 14, 2011. The festival kicked off on Aug 13. On its opening day, the festival attracted 280,000 visitors who drank 77 tons of beer, setting records for the festival. The 16-day event - the biggest of its kind in Asia - opens on the second Saturday of August each year.[Photo/Xinhua]
