World cities bound for Beijing
Barcelona, Berlin, Dubai and 20 other international tourism hubs will join their Chinese counterparts to showcase and discuss city tourism in Beijing between Sept 14 and 16.
More than 54 members will attend the opening meeting of the Beijing-started World Tourism Cities Federation and Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit, to be held at the China National Convention Center. The package of activities will feature a world tourism expo in Beijing’s Wangfujing Street, citywide film screenings of member cities, and promotions of international cuisine in 140 restaurants in the city.
