Novotel Peace Beijing recently celebrated its 60th anniversary, introducing a lot of promotion activities in its restaurants.

The Square, a restaurant offering both a la carte and international buffet, offers a rich array of cold appetizers, along with European style cold cuts. There are more than 20 Chinese and Western dishes, along with authentic French cheeses.

The restaurant has prepared for this special occasion some typical Chinese foods, such as Peking roast duck, Beijing dim sums, wonton, noodles and jiaozi made on the spot.

Daniel Chao, general manager at the hotel, says the restaurant has intentionally introduced local treats for breakfast, to attract business customers.

Chefs have enriched diversity in terms of Western food. They have kept beef steak, chicken and fish fillet at the BBQ, while adding Europen style dishes, such as chicken breast with mushroom, fried cabbage with onionand carrot, seabream with coconut, and pork slices with sour pickled vegetables.

From Sep 15-Oct 15, the restaurant will give a 10 percent discount on buffet, soft drinks, coffee, tea and some of the wines.

Na Family Garden Restaurant will provide draft beef at a 20 percent discount from 6-9 pm everyday during the promotion.
