Mission Hills Movie Town is a film theme park, a joint venture by Chinese director Feng Xiaogang and film production company Huayi Brothers.

The park is divided into seven parts with different themes, such as 1942 Minguo Street, Nanyang Street, Old Beijing Street, Avenue of Stars, and a film shooting area.

1942 Minguo Street, is based on Feng Xiaogang's film, Back to 1942. With buildings featuring typical architectural styles from Chongqing, Wuhan, Nanjing and Shanghai in the 1930s and 1940s, this area mirrors nostalgic city views during Chinas Minguo period (1911-49).

Opened in June this year, the park has received a large number of visitors during the last few months. As the National Day holiday draws near, the park is in full swing to embrace visitors from home and abroad.
