3. How many items can you buy at one time?

The unit price of the goods you bought should be no more than 8,000 RMB ($1,302), and the accumulative total price of all the goods you bought should be no more than 8,000 RMB.

For the goods with a price of more than 8,000 RMB, each visitor can only buy one piece at a time, and extra import tax will be charged.

Also, there are limitations in quantity at purchase. Cosmetics and candies are limited to eight pieces for one person. Perfume, jewelry, pens, clothing, toys and sporting goods are limited to five pieces, while other items, four pieces.

4. How many times can you buy per year?

For Hainan residents, you can enjoy the tax-free purchase once a year. For non-Hainan residents, it is twice a year.

Notes:

1. Pick up your goods at the airport one hour ahead of your flight time. If you go to the counter too early, the staff will not give you the goods. When you pick up your goods, remember to take your ID card, boarding card and check list from the CDF store.

2. For foreign visitors and visitors from China's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who are in an outbound travel, there are no limitations in the quantity of purchase.

3. Visitors who will fly out of Hainan Island, but not outbound, please note that you are not allowed to buy goods at the duty free store 30 days earlier than your departure time. For single goods that cost over 8,000 RMB, you can only pick it up at the airport, instead of taking it with you immediately after the purchase.
