All in Caravaning 2016 will run from June 18 to 20 at Beijing Exhibition Center. The annual expo serves as an important trade platform for China's caravan industry and offers information on global trends.

About 320 exhibitors from home and abroad will demonstrate products including caravans and mobile homes, accessories, extension components and campsites.

There are colorful activities for people to exchange their views about all aspects of the industry. Some domestic and overseas camper-van companies will unveil advanced technology and new caravan models. The annual China Caravan Ambassador Awards will be held for those who love to travel in their camper van.

During the expo, the China National Travel Service (HK) Group Corporation will sell its book A Guide to China's Caravanning Life, claimed to be the first guidebook of its kind in China. The corporation is planning to expand its chain campsites named "318" to 25 to 30, covering provinces such as Guizhou and Gansu along the national 318 highway. Road-tripping tourists can rent a car or camper van at one campsite and return it at another campsite.

"More and more Chinese are starting to enjoy their caravan life. As the campsites are being more well-equipped, caravanning will be a trend for Chinese travelers," says Dai Dong, sales director of Yunnan Outdoor RV Camping Tourism Development Co Ltd. The company offers customized inbound and outbound itineraries for caravan fans.

The Yunnan provincial government wants to make the province a friendly destination for road trips. It plans to build 100 RV campsites by 2018.
