More than Antarctic - A fantastic journey

Our second stop was South Georgia Island, which hosts hundreds of thousands of king penguins. From baby penguins to adults, a large number of them played and sang in the cold, their songs echoing in the snow-capped mountains and along the riverside.
When floating ice and icebergs began to appear on the sea, when seabirds and whales surrounded the ship, we had arrived at the Antarctic Peninsula!
After signing the Antarctic Convention and vacuuming all our clothes and equipment, we were led onboard speedboats by expeditionary members and started a tour around the glaciers and islands.
