Over 160 ice and snow sports to enhance winter fun in Shenyang

In the upcoming Shenyang International Tourism Festival, which will run from December 2016 to March 2017, over 160 ice and snow-featured projects will be available to tourists, including four of the best snow fields in Shenyang, together with more than 20 parks which can offer entertainment and sports activities featuring ice and snow.

According to the press office of the Shenyang municipal government, continuous snowfalls since the beginning of this winter have made this year’s ice and snow tours run smoothly, apart from some traditional activities such as skiing, skating and ice slides, new items like snow mountain surfing have been added to the list, a record number of over 160 activities covering 8 themes will be featured during the 3-month long winter tourism season in Shengyang, which is set to excite visitors who are fond of wintry outdoor sports.
