Regent Beijing has been voted as one of the top three hotels in the capital in the 27th annual Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards 2014. The luxurious city hotel's sixth nomination also preserves its position in the prestigious Platinum Circle.
This year, nearly 77,000 of the magazine's readers submitted more than a million votes for the best hotels, resorts, cruise lines, cities and islands in the world. Votes were cast for more than 8,000 properties around the world. With an overall score of 90.7, the Regent Beijing ranked number 15 in the category "Top 25 Hotels in Asia" and was one of only three hotels in the capital to make it onto China's Top 10. The honorable accolade also sustains the Regent Beijing's inclusion in Condé Nast Traveller's esteemed Platinum Circle among other members who have made the ultra-service Gold List at least five years in a row.
Condé Nast Traveller readers applauded the hotel's "extremely spacious" rooms, filled with traditional artwork, "wonderfully deep soaking tubs" and "large picture windows that allow sweeping views of the Forbidden City".
"It is an honor to have our hotel included in Condé Nast Traveller's exclusive issue and being voted for by the highly discerning readers of the luxury travel magazine among the luxury hotels and resorts in the world" said Nick Porter, general manager of the Regent Beijing. "The latest recognition underlines our commitment to firmly establish Regent Beijing among the very best hotels in the world."
