Death for embezzler
(chinadaily.com.cn) Updated: 2013-10-24 10:55Gu Chunfang, a former fugitive dubbed "beautiful businesswoman" in Jiangsu province was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve for illegally taking more than one billion yuan($0.16 billion) of public money, Yangzi Evening News reported.
Gu fled in March 2012 to escape loan debts but was captured shortly afterwards in Shanghai.
