The parents of a 16-month-old girl, who suffered brain damage after an 18-day medical rescue failed, decided to donate the baby's kidneys, liver and eyes after her death, West China City Daily reported Friday.
The heartbroken 22-year-old mother said she wished other families could avoid the pain of losing a child. Two hours after the organ harvesting, the girl's liver was transferred and saved another baby girl.
