The coastal city of Sanya in South China's Hainan province was shrouded by haze on Friday, a rare sight for the city renowned for its great environment. Photos of its foggy skyline have gone viral on Chinese social networking sites, as people worry that the once highly-livable city would fall prey to air pollution like some North China cities.
