Yang Lan，a well-known TV personality, asked Lang Lang, a Chinese pianist, on her Weibo account on Tuesday night what his job means for kids who "can't afford a piano or live in warship and famine," after he recently became the United Nations Messenger of Peace.

The post was forwarded 33,624 times and received 14,103 comments. Most of the comments ridiculed Yang's question as silly, with one saying a peace figure attracts attention and philanthropy through fame, not his profession.
