Hatoyama apologizes

Former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama apologized on Wednesday for Japan's military invasion of China (1931-1945) during World War II.

Hatoyama made the remarks in a speech at the City University of Hong Kong, China News Service reported.
