Two statues of naked Buddhas were shown in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, China News Service reported.
The two Buddhas, one climbing a wall and the other looking at him, triggered online discussions as some netizens said such statues were disrespectful to the Buddha.

Math whiz
A 23-year-old man who can do complex arithmetic in his head was once identified as having mental problems, Yangtze Evening News reported.
Zhou Wei, from Wutai county of North China's Shanxi province, showed off his mental arithmetic skills during a TV program on Friday evening. But the genius was diagnosed as mentally disabled due to his bad language skills, the newspaper said.
High price to pay
A woman suffered an epileptic seizure at Guangdong Railway Station after she managed to buy a ticket on Jan 13.
The woman had queued all night to buy the ticket, Rugao News Network said. It's difficult to get a train ticket during the travel peak for Spring Festival, which is New Year's Day on the Chinese lunar calendar and falls on Jan 31 this year.

Presidential lunch
Qingfeng Steamed Stuffed Bun has become the official lunch supplier for the sessions of the Jiangsu provincial people's congress and the Jiangsu provincial committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the Yangtze Evening Post reported.
President Xi Jinping ate a 21-yuan meal at Qingfeng earlier this month, boosting the restaurant's popularity.

A man was arrested by Beijing police for "group subletting" - renting an apartment, then separating it into multiple rooms and leasing it to numerous people, Beijing News reported.

A man received a life sentence on Sunday for cheating a woman out of 14.6 million yuan ($2.4 million) in Beijing.
The woman's husband was caught by the disciplinary authorities on corruption charges last year, and the man told the woman that he could get her husband released, Beijing Times reported.

Free gas for motorcycles
Migrant workers who go back home on a motorcycle before Spring Festival can get a free tank of gasoline, according to Sinopec, China's petrol giant.
The company planned to provide free gasoline service for 10,000 people during the travel peak as many migrant workers have to travel hundreds of kilometers by motorcycle if they can't get a railway ticket, China National Radio reported.
