College students rehearse for Guinness World Record
Public square dancing, once the domain of middle-aged Chinese women, is now the focus of a world record attempt by some 2,000 students at Zhejiang University's Hangzhou campus in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, GMW.cn reported.
The dance rehearsal is preparation for a challenge to the Guinness World Record for the world's largest line dance. The challenge is scheduled in early November. More than 10,000 dancers from over 40 provinces and cities nationwide are expected to to participate in the dance.
