$8,000 reward to find dog

The lost of a beloved dog always makes its owner try every effort, including offering a reward, to find it. The dog owner in this story, however, turns a sad occasion into an exciting one by promising a record-breaking reward.

A woman, surnamed Lv, said her dog was taken away by a stranger on Dec 12 morning in Changsha, Central China's Hunan province. After searching for hours, she posted a notice both online and offline, in which she promised to give anyone who would find the dog a reward of 50,000 yuan ($8,053). The notice attracted much attention online. Some Internet users said in a teasing way, "If you want to get rich, go hunt the missing dog".
