Man writes calligraphy while floating on water

A monk who walked 118 meters on water blew our minds last year, while this man pushes the legendry Chinese Kung fu to another level.

Yuan Yuncai has developed a unique ability of floating on water on his back while writing calligraphy after more than 20 years of practice since accidentally rescuing a drowning woman in 1993, in Central China's Hunan province, Sanxiang City Express reported on Thursday.

During that rescue effort, he nearly lost his life because he found it difficulty to carry a drowning person back to the river bank. He then started practicing swimming with heavy load to make the next rescue easier. The practice gave him an unexpected skill: floating on water on his back. Excited with the progress, he added more elements and difficulties, such as doing calligraphy while drifting.

He broke a Guinness record in 2002 when he floated on water for 16 hours.

Find out why a man is carrying manure on his shoulders in our next story.
