You may have had to field ridiculous demands by your boss, but would you ever expect to be forced to attend his or her mother-in-law's funeral?
A company in Taizhou city, Zhejiang province compelled all its employees to attend the boss' mother-in-law's funeral on Friday, according to dfic.cn.
Each employee wore a white shirt that the company gave them and stood in rows at the funeral, holding banners with words meaning "Rest in Peace".
Those who refused to go would be fined 200 yuan ($32) for absence from work.
