Bus driver shows off good health

Passengers getting cold on a bus on Route No. 1 in Chengdu, Sichuan province, were recently surprised to find the 46-year-old driver wearing only a T-shirt and shorts in winter.

According to a Chengdu Economic Daily report, Wu Wei has been a bus driver for more than 20 years. He used to be in frail health and would spend thousands of yuan in hospitals every year.

Wu said that after he turned 40, he spent three years reading books on traditional Chinese medicine to find out which foods and herbs would keep him warm and strong. He has eaten them regularly and said he is now able to resist the biting cold.
