China's stocks close up -- Jan 11

BEIJING - China's stocks rose slightly Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.44 percent, or 12.24 points, to finish at 2,804.05 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed up 0.44 percent, or 54.01 points, to end at 12,385.2 points.

Combined turnover shrank to 169.78 billion yuan ($25.65 billion) from 198.67 billion yuan the previous trading day.
