China Mining United Fund seeks IPO in HK, mainland this year

SINGAPORE - China Mining United Fund, a private company focused on mining-related investments, said on Wednesday it plans an initial public offer for its energy and gold assets this year, Reuters reported.

Zheng Zhi, chairman of the company, told reporters at a mining conference in Singapore that the company hopes to list on Hong Kong and Mainland China bourses in 2011 and is working with several banks to develop the offer.
