Chinese shares end lower Friday

BEIJING - Chinese shares closed lower Friday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 8.52 points, or 0.3 percent, to 2,863.89.
The Shenzhen Component Index inched down 0.15 percent, or 18.38 points, to end at 12,067.61.
