State Council approves policies for Qianhai

China's State Council, or cabinet, has approved development and opening-up policies for the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone, according to the website of the Chinese government, July 3.
The cabinet will support the zone to implement experimental polices, which are "more special" than policies adopted in special economic zones.
The cabinet will also support experimental activities in financial reform and innovation in Qianhai.
