Apple's mobile devices take 75 percent of total profit among all mobile devices worldwide, while its shipment only accounts for 9 percent of the total, says Bob Carrigan, CEO of IDG Communications, in today's speech in Macworld Asia 2012 in Beijing.
Carrigan says that Apple has equal shares of US and Chinese tablet markets in the first quarter, about two thirds.
He adds that Apple will dominate the current tablet industry in the coming few years.
IDG predicts that in smartphone industry, Android will take 61 percent market share while iOS will take 21 percent by year end.
