Rovio Entertainment Ltd, the Finnish company behind the Angry Birds franchise, will launch its new game, Bad Piggies, on iOS, Android and Mac on Thursday, according to a company statement.
The green pigs from its successor game Angry Birds will move from minor villains to center stage heroes. The new game features fantastic vehicles and flying machines with customized equipment and designs.
The storyline has the pigs on a deserted island needing to find food. That requires players to build structures, devices and vehicles to help the piggies reach their goals. No more details have been revealed at present.
To celebrate the new game, the company said it will launch a green Bad Piggies car using the Nissan LEAF, which will run entirely on electricity.
