Honeywell, AVIC to jointly oversee engine programs

Honeywell Aerospace, the US-based aviation spare parts provider, and AVIC Aviation Engine Holding Co Ltd plan to establish a strategic leadership team to oversee existing and future engine programs for the Chinese general and business aviation industry, Honeywell said on Wednesday.
A steering committee will be established by the two sides to supervise the projects and leaders from the two companies will have regular meetings to guide the projects.
