China is planning to build 120 border stations along its land borders in an effort to boost trade.
The outline, expected to be announced this year, will propose establishing 120 border stations along China's 22,000-kilometer land borders, the China Securities Journal reported Tuesday, citing unidentified sources.
The stations will enjoy favorable policies including financial, fiscal, talent and land supply support.
The stations will be located in China's eight provinces and autonomous regions next to China's 14 neighboring countries.
Experts said the program comes amid a backdrop of declining trade volume in China's coastal areas and growing trade along the border areas.
