China to open gas pipeline business to private investors

China has decided to open the country's oil and gas pipeline business to private investors.
In a document issued by the National Energy Administration on Monday, the regulator said China will open the construction and operation of oil and gas pipelines to the private sector.
The construction and operations of oil and gas pipelines is currently dominated by a few State-owned petroleum corporations.
