China's February exports up 4.2%, imports up 44.7%

BEIJING — China's exports in yuan-denominated terms rose 4.2 percent year-on-year in February, while imports up by 44.7 percent, customs data showed on Wednesday.

That led to a monthly trade deficit of 60.36 billion yuan ($8.74 billion), in contrast with a surplus of over 354 billion yuan in January, according to the General Administration of Customs.
