Deals worth $2.29b inked at 2017 Tianmen Entrepreneurs Summit

BEIJING - A total of 43 investment deals worth 15.18 billion yuan ($2.29 billion) were signed at the 2017 Tianmen Entrepreneurs Summit, which was held on Friday in Tianmen city, Central China's Hubei province.

The investment deals cover areas including intelligent equipment manufacturing, machinery and electronics, new energy and new material, food processing, biomedicine.

Such factors as favorable investment environment, convenient transportation are all attractions, many entrepreneurs said.

Statistics show that 159 investment deals were signed in the city from January to October, marking a 42 percent year-on-year rise.

Apart from that, the fixed-asset investment volume in the city during the same period reached 32.75 billion yuan, registering a 16.5 percent year-on-year rise.
