HK Chief Executive to attend China-Eurasia Expo

HONG KONG - Donald Tsang, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, will attend the first China-Eurasia Expo in Urumqi, capital of Northwest China's Xinjiang autonomous region, from August 31 to September 2.

The Information Services Department of the Hong Kong SAR government said on Monday that Tsang will attend the opening ceremony of the Expo and meet some officials. He will also speak at the China-Eurasia Economic Development & Co-operation Forum.

During Tsang's absence from Hong Kong, Chief Secretary for Administration Henry Tang will be acting chief executive.
