Boarding passengers at Urumqi Diwopu International Airport recently were not allowed to take trolley cases on the plane with them, as a new rule went into effect, people.com.cn reported on Sunday.
The airport in Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region in Northwest China, recently imposed stricter security measures as the air-travel season began. The passengers' trolley cases, which have wheels and an extending handle, must be checked.
The airport reminded passengers to pay attention to the new security measures and check in their luggage before they board.
