BEIJING - China will observe a UN resolution on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said on Wednesday.
"We will firmly follow the UN resolution and honor related international obligations," spokeswoman Hua Chunying said at a daily press briefing.
Hua made the remarks when asked whether China will follow the resolution, which imposes sanctions on the DPRK.
"The UN resolution is clear. China is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and a responsible member of the international community," Hua said.
