Filming of a television documentary focusing on people living in harmony with nature on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau started recently in Lhasa, capital of the Tibet autonomous region.
Planned by the Information Office of the State Council, the documentary, Third Pole, consists of five 50-minute episodes and will be co-produced by China Central Television and Beijing Five Star Cultural Media.
With spectacular scenery providing the backdrop, the documentary will show how people on the plateau live and discuss the secret of their coexistence with nature, according to the information office.
The documentary will be finished in the fall of 2014.
