The Ministry of Education approved the establishment of Wenzhou Kean University on March 31, making it the first Sino-US cooperation university in Zhejiang province and the second in China, after Shanghai New York University.
Wenzhou Kean University is a cooperation between Wenzhou and Kean University in the United States. It will start recruitment of 500 students from September in six majors including English, computer science and technology, marketing and economics.
