2 injured at Guangzhou subway station, attacker at large

GUANGZHOU - Two people were wounded by a man with a knife at a subway station in South China's Guangdong province Saturday evening, local police announced on Sunday.
The accident happened at around 19:55 pm, when the attacker made at a man and a woman with a knife at Wanshengwei subway station in Guangzhou City. The attacker escaped after wounding the two, according to witnesses.
According to investigation, the two injured, who have been hospitalized, are cousins. The injured woman claimed the attacker is her ex-boyfriend.
Further investigation is underway.
