Six killed as truck plunges off cliff in SW China

KUNMING - Six people died Wednesday morning after a truck overturned and fell off a cliff in Southwest China's Yunnan province, local police said.
The accident occurred when a truck carrying six road construction workers overturned and plunged from a 100-meter-high cliff on the road linking the tourist city of Lijiang and Ninglang Yi autonomous county, according to Lijiang police.
The bodies of victims were found by rescuers in the afternoon, police said.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
