Students sit for exams outside the classroom
Teachers at Shaanxi Sanhe College, Baoji city of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, thought that making students sit for exams outside of the classroom will help prevent cheating so they moved all the tables and chairs outside, Beijing Youth Daily reported Monday.
On Thursday all the 3,800 students sat for three exams at the sports ground, with each test involving more than 1,200 students and 80 invigilators. Supervisors kept an eye on the students and also used HD cameras, binoculars and ladders for an overview.
This is the 10th year that the exams have been held outside the classroom. They take place once in May and once in November. Graduates sit for tests outside and the scores determine the order they are recommended to employers, Li Lan, director of academic affairs said.
