Photos picked up by mainstream Chinese media showing cars parked in doodle-like areas in Shenyang, capital city of Northeast China's Liaoning province, have gone viral, with many questioning the legality of the lots.
Some spaces have the license plate number painted on the ground, which was built just a month ago.
Even parking lot barriers and isolation cones are installed in the spaces.
