Couple's flower valley planted with love gains national attention

A couple who has led a tranquil life on a 80-hectare-valley planting flowers by themselves in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan province, now has gained nationwide attention after participating in a classics reading literature program The Reader on China's national television network CCTV.
"My wife (Yin Jie) had been longing for a garden of her own," the husband Zhou Xiaolin said. "I promised her I would build the most beautiful garden in China for her."
And it is his own dream to present the best scenery of his hometown Chengdu to the world.
Hearing the couple's story, the producers of the TV program invited them to read a masterpiece love letter by famous Chinese translator Zhu Shenghao for his wife Song Qingru.
