A physicist has used x-ray technology to create an extraordinary collection of artwork. Arie Van't Riet's pictures reveal birds, fish, monkeys and flowers in an incredible new style. The 66-year-old, from Bathmen, Netherlands, began taking x-rays of flowers as a means to teach radiographers and physicians how an x-ray machine worked. But after adding a bit of color to the pictures, the retired medical physicist realized the potential behind this new art style.
