The first Shenzhen International Photography Week opened in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, Oct 22, 2014, showing 18 world photo exhibitions at the Shenzhen Art Museum. World famous photographers' works are on display, including photos by the late American photographer Edward Steichen, who was considered the pioneer of modernist photography and those of Italian photographer Felice Beato, who was known as the first ever photographer to shoot Beijing. Also to be seen are works by Jerry N. Uelsann, Maggie Taylor and other masters. The exhibits end Oct 30.
