Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio is a collection of nearly 500 mostly supernatural tales written by Pu Songling during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). They are filled with magical foxes, ghosts, scholars, Taoist exorcists and beasts.
Three sets of stamps about Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio, designed by Chen Quansheng, were issued between 2001 and 2003.
