Beijing Aquarium
Beijing Aquarium covers about 120,000 square meters, with 42,000 square meters' building area. It is the biggest inland aquarium in the world at present.
In the aquarium, with the purpose of "cultivate everyone, benefit students and hold the zoology together", it ingeniously arranges seven theme zones including "Rainforest Wonders", "Touch Pool", "Seabed Trip", "Bering Town", "National Treasure Sturgeon Hall", "Whale and Dolphin Bay" and "Ocean Theatre". There are more than 1,000 varieties of bionts and several ten thousands of fishes in the aquarium.
