Over 170,000 movable cultural relics in Potala Palace have been documented by now. Tibet started to register and document removable cultural relics after China's central government decided to do a nationwide survey on it back in 2013.
It is expected that the documenting of 200,000 cultural relics will be completed by the end of this year.
Potala Palace has a history of over 1,300 years and is among the first batch of Major National Historical and Cultural Sites. It has a total amount of over 1000,000 cultural relics.
